CREATE SET

Overview

  • Create a set of questions to suit your study needs.

Instructions

  • Choose one of the radio buttons in Section 1: Choose Your Question Type.
  • Choose one of the radio buttons in Section 2: Pick Your Difficulty Level.
  • Choose one or more of the checkboxes in Section 3: Select Your Topics. If you'd like to study many topics, choose Select All and then uncheck any topics you don't want.
  • In Section 4: Create Your Set, type the number of questions you'd like to take in the box beside Choose Quantity.The number of available questions, given your selections, is displayed on the left. If you change the options in Sections 1 through 3, the number of available questions will update automatically.
  • Click the Create Set button to create your question set.

PRACTICE SETS

Overview

  • The main testing page is the core of your studies.

Instructions

  • You'll first see a Directions page that provides details on the current set and explains how the sets work. Click  after you read the directions.
  • At the top left, you'll see the number of your current practice set, followed by the topic of the question. If you created a set with multiple topics, the topic will change as you go along.
  • Read the question and choose one of the answer options. You can skip the question if you don't want to answer immediately.
  • Click  to move to the previous question in your set. If there is no previous question, the page won't change.
  • Click to move to the next question in your set. When you reach the end of the set, you'll see an alert box. Click OK to continue to the History page, where you can check your score.
  • Click  to bookmark a question. You'll see a yellow bookmark to the left of the question number. To remove the bookmark, click the button again. The bookmark will appear in the Question Index and on the Review page.
  • Click  to see the correct answer and a detailed explanation. You can close the Explanation with the  button.
  • Click  to view a list of the questions in the set. You can use this page to jump to another question, such as one that you've bookmarked or haven't answered.
  • Click the Feedback link to open the feedback box and leave a comment about the current question or the product. Click SUBMIT to send us your feedback.
  • Click  to return to the Create Set screen.
  • Click  to see the directions for your question set.
  • Click  to save your answers and jump to the History page. From History, you can come back to in-progress sets and complete them later.
  • Click  to save your answers and grade the set. Your set will be marked complete, and you'll jump to the History page, where you can check your score.

QUESTION INDEX

Overview

  • Use this page to view a list of the questions in the set.

Instructions

  • To jump to a question from the Question Index, click next to the question number. To go back to the question you were working on, click Close.
  • If a row is gray, you haven't answered the question yet.
  • For every question you've marked, you'll see a yellow bookmark next to the question number.
  • Click  to save your answers and jump to the History page. From History, you can come back to in-progress sets to complete them later.
  • Click  to save your answers and grade the set. Your set will be marked complete, and you'll jump to the History page, where you can check your score.

HISTORY

Overview

  • This page shows you a list of all the sets you've created. You can review your answers or continue in-progress sets from where you left off.

Instructions

  • Sets are displayed from the most recent to the earliest, according to when you created the set. The date doesn't change if you complete the set on a different date.
  • The Score is the number of questions you answered correctly out of the total number of questions in the set. Unanswered questions are considered incorrect.
  • The % is the percentage that you received on the set (maximum 100%).
  • The Status shows whether you've completed the set. Completed means that you've finished the set and had it scored. In Progress means that you Suspended the set; you can go back to the set and continue answering questions.
  • Click the  button to permanently delete a set. An alert box will appear. Click OK to delete the set.
  • Click to continue an In Progress set from where you left off. You'll see the Directions page, and after you click CONTINUE, you'll see the first unanswered question in the set.
  • Clickto review a completed set. You can see which questions you answered correctly, which ones you got wrong, and which ones you left blank.
  • Click  to view your set results, broken down by topic.
  • Click FULL SUMMARY to view your overall results by topic.

REVIEW

Overview

  • You can see your score for each question in that set, and you can select a question to see the correct answer and a detailed explanation.

Instructions

  • By default, all the questions in the set are displayed.
  • Choose one of the radio buttons to filter the questions you'd like to review. Review All shows all the questions in the set. Review Marked shows only the questions that you bookmarked while taking the set. Review Incorrect shows only the questions that you answered incorrectly. Review Unanswered shows only the questions that you didn't answer. Click  to apply the selection. If no questions match your selection, the table will be blank.
  • Click  to see the original question, the correct answer, and a detailed explanation.
  • Click  to view your set results, broken down by topic.
  • Click  or HISTORY to return to the set history.

REVIEW QUESTION

Overview

  • You can see the original question with the answer choice you selected, the correct answer, and a detailed explanation.

Instructions

  • Click  to move to the previous question according to your selection (All, Marked, Incorrect, or Unanswered). For example, if you chose Incorrect questions, you'll move to the previous incorrect question. If there is no previous question, then the page won't change.
  • Click to move to the next question according to your selection (All, Marked, Incorrect, or Unanswered). For example, if you chose Incorrect questions, you'll move to the next incorrect question. When you reach the end of the set, clicking Next will return you to the Review page for the current set.
  • If you've closed the Explanation with the button, click  to see the explanation again.
  • Click   or  to go back to the Review page for the current set.
  • Click the Feedback link to open the Feedback box, which appears below the Explanation box. Leave a comment about the current question or product and click SUBMIT to send us your feedback.
  • Click  to return to the Create Set screen.

FULL SUMMARY

Overview

  • You can view your overall results, broken down by topic.

Instructions

  • Click HISTORY to view a list of all the sets you've created. You can review your answers or continue in-progress sets from where you left off.
